HOTEL CHAINS HEADING FOR DENMARK
Nov. 26, 2008International hotel chains will be part of the city scene in the large Danish cities in the future, believes team leader hotel & leisure Martin Dyrholm at Colliers Hans Vestergaard. And only a few of the large hotels will be in the international chains’ focus, estimates Dyrholm. - Small hotels with less than 100 rooms are not of interest to the large chains, says Dyrholm who believes that the large players are still to turn up in Denmark.
The chains which may have a future in Denmark are for example Intercontinental, Holliday Inn and Four Seasons, predicts Dyrholm.
The chain hotels have a good name and will be popular among the guests and especially business travellers who are often staying overnight all over the world, says Martin Dyrholm. - The hotels’ names are a brand and that creates confidence, he explains.
