WHAT IS A SUCCESS
The definition of a successCopenhagen Capacity’s “turnover” is the number of jobs we create by attracting foreign companies to the region. Together with KPMG, we have set the criteria below to describe what is considered part of our “turnover”.
An investment case must meet the following criteria to be a success:
-
The company must be foreign-owned
-
A company must be established or retained in Copenhagen/Zealand
-
At least one permanent employee must be hired or retained
-
Copenhagen Capacity has to been involved in process before the final decision to locate in Copenhagen is made by the company in question.
-
The company must have an international operation. This means that the company’s activities in Denmark are to cover several countries or have an international perspective e.g. R&D
-
Copenhagen has to in competition with one or more named cities. This means that if a foreign company decides to locate in Copenhagen without considering other alternative locations, Copenhagen Capacity cannot claim the case as a success
-
KPMG’s evaluation of the case has to be positive and verify Copenhagen Capacity’s involvement
In certain cases it may be possible to make minor exceptions from these general rules.
