GREVE
Greve is situated adjacent to the Greater Copenhagen Region, giving easy access to the region for its 48,000 inhabitants via the motorway and excellent public transport. Fully 60 per cent of the municipality's workforce works in the Greater Copenhagen Region and the average income here is amongst the highest in the area.
Greve's proximity to Copenhagen and the Greater Copenhagen Region is of major benefit to the municipality, and gives a strong business culture with many small and medium sized companies and a high frequency of establishing new businesses.
The neighbouring municipalities of Greve, Solrød, Køge and Stevns have established a collaboration which, supported by focused business promotion programmes in these municipalities, means that the survival rate for new businesses is amongst the highest in the region.
