GLOSTRUP
Glostrup municipality consists of the town of Glostrup and its suburbs Ejby and Hvissinge. It is among the smaller municipalities in terms of both number of inhabitants (20,600) and area (1,331 hectares).
Glostrup is a business-oriented municipality, with more workplaces than inhabitants. The number of workplaces totals 21,500.
Glostrup has many attractive residential areas, such as Hvissinge East and Hvissinge West. Glostrup’s traffic infrastructure and well-developed public traffic ensures good access, which combined with the availability of a highly qualified workforce makes Glostrup an attractive location for many companies.
Over the years Glostrup has become an important centre in the Copenhagen West region and today is home to the county council offices, the police district headquarters and Glostrup Law Court.
